Tenant Insurance from The Lettings Hub.

Stepping Stones are pleased to work in partnership with The Lettings Hub to provide tenants’ insurance to help protect your possessions and your liability as a tenant.

Landlords are responsible for insuring the rental property building, but it’s up to you as a tenant to protect yourself when it comes to insuring the property’s contents. Remember that it’s not just a question of loss or damage to your own property (such as your TV, computer or jewellery): you could also be liable for loss or damage to your landlord’s property, furniture, fittings and fixtures which could be taken from your deposit.

The Lettings Hub Tenants’ Contents insurance provides £5,000 Tenants’ Liability cover as standard, as well as covering your own possessions to make sure you are protected for the unexpected.

Alternatively, you can choose to just insure your liability as a tenant. The Tenants’ Liability insurance provides £5,000 worth of cover to help protect your deposit should you cause damage to your Landlord’s fixtures and fittings, including accidental damage.
