Ben heads up the client side of the business and his knowledge of the local market means that he can offer fully independent advice about investment. The continued growth of the company is a testament to his customer service ethos.

Ali founded Stepping Stones with Ben in 2006 and together they have grown it to be one of the area's leading letting agents. With over thirty five years' experience in the industry, Ali has an extensive knowledge of the local property market and coupled with a strong belief in customer service and the delivery of a personal approach, she has built up an established client base with a huge amount of repeat business.

Ruth has worked with Ben and Ali for 20 years. Her ability to juggle many tasks is quite impressive. Ruth has a long history in the industry and her knowledge of current legislation is second to none.

Outside the office Ruth loves the ballet and spending time with her sons, Archie and Fraser.

Lauren joined Stepping Stones in 2015 as a trainee property manager and brought with her masses of enthusiasm and a fresh approach to customer service, showing a natural affinity for the industry.

Now Office Manager, Lauren is responsible for leading and supporting staff, whilst overseeing daily operations to ensure a high standard of service.

Outside of work you will find Lauren with her two girls, Gracie and Phoebe, and her Labrador, Ralph.

Sam joined Stepping Stones in 2020, bringing with him a strong background in property management. He quickly established himself as a dedicated and reliable property manager, earning the trust of both landlords and tenants alike.

After swiftly completing his NFOPP Level 3 qualifications, Sam progressed into a senior role within the property management team.

Outside of work, you'll often find him on the golf course at Silverstone, rarely seen without one of his trademark colourful outfits, or playing darts in the pub.

Merryn joined Stepping Stones in 2025 and has brought with her an energetic, proactive approach to all that she does.

As Office Coordinator, Merryn is responsible for managing and preparing our legal documentation whilst offering support to other members of the team.

Outside of work, you will often find Merryn on the sidelines for one of her boys' football games!

Nikki joined Stepping Stones at the start of 2026, bringing with her a wealth of expertise built over seven years in the lettings industry, complemented by more than 20 years’ experience in property conveyancing. Her deep understanding of the property sector allows her to offer clients a seamless and knowledgeable service at every stage.

Known for her warm, approachable manner and unwavering professionalism, Nikki has quickly established strong, lasting relationships with both landlords and tenants. Her dedication to delivering exceptional service makes her a valued member of the team.

Following a career in the hospitality industry, Laura joined us in 2020 and is considered a joy to work with by her co-workers.

Starting as our Lettings Negotiator, Laura has since been promoted to Lettings Manager. Now running our lettings department, Laura brings a positive, diligent attitude to all that she does.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys cooking and skiing.
