Meet The Team…
Ben Jones – Owner
With over thirty years’ experience in property lettings Ben is one of the founders of Stepping Stones. Ben heads up the client side of the business and his knowledge of the local market means that he can offer fully independent advice about investment. The continued growth of the company is a testament to his customer service ethos.
Outside work, you’ll mostly find him walking his dog, watching rugby or gardening.
Ali Jones – Owner
Ali founded Stepping Stones with Ben in 2006 and together they have grown it to be one of the area’s leading letting agents. With over thirty years’ experience in the industry, Ali has an extensive knowledge of the local property market and coupled with a strong belief in customer service and the delivery of a personal approach, she has built up an established client base with a huge amount of repeat business.
Away from work Ali loves holidays and handbags!
Ruth Neczaj – Office Manager
Ruth is our office manager. As such she oversees all the day to day running of the business. Her ability to juggle 101 tasks and still remain calm, pleasant and well-mannered is quite amazing. Ruth has a long history in the industry and her knowledge of current legislation is second to none.
Outside the office Ruth loves the ballet and her dog, Iggy.
Glen Monaghan – Lettings Manager
Glen has been a valued member of the team since Stepping Stones opened in 2006. Working as the companies Letting Manager and with a detailed knowledge of the rental market, he is the first point of contact for all rental enquiries.
Away from work Glen loves golf, rugby and West Ham.
Lauren Rand – Senior Property Manager
Lauren joined Stepping Stones in 2015 as a trainee property manager and bought with her masses of enthusiasm and a young, fresh approach to customer service. She has now passed her Level 3 NFOPP award in Residential Property Management. Lauren is responsible for a large portfolio of properties and oversees the rest of the property management team.
In her spare time she enjoys days out at the zoo and lots of shopping.
Emma Barns – Property Coordinator
What can we say about Emma? Since joining the team in 2016 she has shown herself to be one of the most versatile and competent people we have met! Emma joined from another local agent and has shown that her quiet professional, manner is popular with both tenants and Landlords alike.
Away from the office Emma loves hill walking and open water swimming.
Heather Haymes – Property Manager
Heather joined the company in 2017 after working in the industry for some years. She is always happy, cheerful and keen to help and with her depth of knowledge has already become an invaluable member of the team.
Away from work she is a keen walker and enjoys travelling.
Kieran Warren – Property Manager
Kieran joined Stepping Stones in early 2018 and has made himself an important member of the Property Management team. He is currently studying towards his NFOPP qualifications and has already shown himself to be popular with Landlords and tenants alike.
Outside Stepping Stones Kieran enjoys football and nights out.
Amy Evans – Property Manager
Amy has come to Stepping Stones from a property background and has already shown herself to be a keen and professional agent. She works hard to ensure the delivery of service always exceeds the expectations of her clients. Amy is studying towards her NFOPP and is a popular member of the property management team.
Away from work Amy is happiest when shopping or socialising.
Jazmine Bignell – Lettings Administrator
Jazmine joined Stepping Stones in 2018 after a career in the travel industry. With her infectious sense of humour and her ability to work hard and get on with everyone Jazmine has made herself an invaluable member of the Stepping Stones team. She organises all of the lettings department and ensures all viewings and lettings are easy and trouble free.
When not at work Jazmine is a keen traveller and enjoys nothing more than holidays and nights out.
